Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu confirmed that Duolun Technology‘s “Application Demonstration Project of public Transport Priority” was listed in the “Key Project List of Smart Jiangsu 2019”.

Organized by Authorities to Improve the Informatization Level

The selection is organized and promoted by Jiangsu Informatization Leading Group Office (the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu), and aims to accelerate the development of smart Jiangsu to a higher level, enhance roles of informatization in transforming development modes, and guaranteeing and improving people’s livelihood, and fully discover the successful experience and practices of the construction of smart Jiangsu. A total of 59 key projects of building smart Jiangsu are selected after procedures of recommendation review, formal review, expert review, and provincial meeting review by various localities and departments.

With Public Transport Priority to Solve Pain Points of Urban Management

Duolun Technology’s “Application Demonstration Project of public Transport Priority” uses technologies such as radio frequency identification devices (RFID), high-speed image recognition processing, and satellite positioning to "perceive" high-speed vehicles, and collect, organize and analyze data in real time to realize solutions of problems of automatic vehicle identification, dynamic monitoring, and balanced distribution of vehicle operations, and gradually realize the functions of precise vehicle management, dynamic monitoring of urban road network, and public transport operation dispatching.

On this basis, this project uses a series of traffic management and service systems such as traffic signal control, public transport fixed-point/full-course location monitoring, and public transport information services to guide the reasonable distribution of traffic flows, realize the dynamic organization and management of urban traffic, reasonably use the large capacity of public transport, alleviate the congestion of urban traffic, improve the efficiency of traffic operation, and ensure the smooth and orderly flow of urban traffic.
