Recently, EngineAI Robotics, a leading embodied intelligence robotics company, successfully completed its Series B funding round totaling USD 200 million, with its valuation exceeding RMB 10 billion, marking a significant milestone for the company's development. As a key strategic investor in this round, Duolun Technology leveraged its mature scenarios and industry expertise in smart transportation, smart vehicle management, and smart policing to help EngineAI unlock critical pathways for commercialization in transportation, government services, and security scenarios. The two companies are jointly advancing the large-scale application of humanoid robots in vertical scenarios, co-building a new ecosystem for the embodied intelligence industry.

This funding round was led by Henan Investment Group Huirong Fund, with Luxshare Precision as co-lead investor. Other participants included China Innovation Strategic Investment, C Stone Capital, Longgang Financial Holdings, and Duolun Technology as a strategic investor, along with continued support from existing shareholders. This underscores the capital market's high recognition of EngineAI's technological moat and commercialization prospects.


Beyond its confidence in EngineAI's long-term development, Duolun Technology's strategic investment represents a deep integration of technology and scenarios, with mutual empowerment. Duolun Technology will open up its core application scenarios, providing EngineAI with high-value deployment opportunities in traffic management, government services, security patrols, and more, addressing the critical challenges of making humanoid robots "capable, practical, and commonly used," and accelerating the commercial validation and scalable replication of the technology.

Jointly Building a Scenario-Based Product Matrix to Create Vertical-Sector Robotics


Focusing on core needs in public security traffic management, government services, and urban security, the two companies are co-developing a series of scenario-specific products including intelligent guidance robots, traffic command robots, security patrol robots, and intelligent vehicle inspection robots. Leveraging EngineAI's core technologies in high-precision motion control, environmental perception, and autonomous decision-making, and deeply integrating Duolun Technology's mature algorithms and business logic in transportation, vehicle management, and policing, these robots can perform stable operations and achieve efficient human-robot interaction in complex scenarios. This facilitates the rapid transition of humanoid robots from general-purpose platforms to industry-specific products.


A Joint Venture to Deepen Collaboration and Build a Full-Chain Industrial Ecosystem

 

The two companies have jointly established Jiangsu Qing'an Robotics Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of RMB 100 million, focusing on the intelligent development needs of public security traffic management and public safety. The venture aims to build a comprehensive smart policing robotics industrial ecosystem, creating a product matrix covering the full spectrum of "command, patrol, and service." Simultaneously, the partners are building a robotics data collection center and an innovation exhibition center, using real-world scenario data to continuously iterate algorithms and showcase cutting-edge technological achievements, forming a complete "R&D – production – exhibition – application" industrial closed loop.

 

Jointly Creating Benchmark Cases with Multi-City Pilot Deployments

 

The intelligent traffic command robot jointly launched by the two companies can accurately replicate standard traffic police gestures, enable signal coordination, and identify and advise on traffic violations. It has been deployed at key intersections and transportation hubs in multiple cities, including Jiangsu, Shenzhen, Hunan, and Hubei. The robot has effectively improved traffic management efficiency, reduced the workload on police officers, and received high recognition from local traffic management authorities and the public, laying a solid foundation for nationwide scalable replication.
