In July 2025, Duolun Technology announced the completion of its strategic investment in EngineAI through Zhuhai Xingxin Investment Fund and the establishment of a collaborative robot innovation research center, aiming to promote the technological research and industrial application of humanoid robots in the transportation sector. EngineAI showcased its highly scalable bipedal robot SA01 in the research center.

Strategic upgrading: Duolun targets the new track of robotics


Since its inception in 1995, Duolun Technology has established five business segments, namely smart vehicle administration, smart traffic, smart driver training, smart vehicle inspection and new energy. Amid the rapid development of AI and embodied intelligence, the company is actively expanding its business boundaries, as an attempt to open up new growth paths for sustainable development. EngineAI, founded in October 2023, is committed to embodied intelligence, a crucial development direction in the robot industry. It adheres to a pragmatic technology-based strategy. By integrating conventional motion control with reinforcement learning algorithms, EngineAI is systematically connecting the full-chain technical module pipeline in the motion control, force control and perception, planning and decision-making, visual language navigation, positioning identification, environmental perception, and dexterous manipulation, in a bid to rapidly achieve full-body embodied intelligence for individual complex dexterous tasks based on scaling laws and enable technologies to truly meet real-world needs in scenarios.

In the collaborative innovation research center, EngineAI’s SA01 bipedal robot won praise for its smooth gait and agile movements. The open-source robot undoubtedly embodies technological breakthroughs in domestic humanoid robots.
