Children are most susceptible to traffic accidents, and they are also ready for the prime time of enlightenment and safety education on road traffic safety rules.The sprouting of traffic safety awareness in children's hearts and the improvement of children's traffic safety awareness and self-protection ability can effectively prevent and reduce road traffic accidents.

To enhance the traffic safety awareness of traffic participants and educate and guide children to travel safely, lawfully and courteously, the Traffic Management Bureau of Guizhou Provincial Public Security Department, Public Security Traffic Management Bureau of Southwest Guizhou Autonomous Prefecture, Pu'an County People's Government, Pu'an County Education Bureau, Public Security Bureau, Transportation Bureau, Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Traffic Police Brigade of Pu'an County Public Security Bureau and Duolun Technology Co., Ltd. jointly carried out the “First Lesson” Theme Publicity of Traffic Safety Entering the Campus in 2023 New Autumn Term in Guizhou Province and Tour Lecture Theme Publicity Activity of “Beautiful Village Tour” in Pu’an Longxi Shiyan Primary School of Southwest Guizhou Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province under the guidance of the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security on August 31, 2023.

This activity was implemented both online and offline and attracted more than 60,000 teachers and students in Pu'an County to participate in various classes through video conference, which received wide attention and support from public security traffic management departments, social organizations, related enterprises and the public.

This theme publicity of the “First Lesson” and “Beautiful Village Tour” was centered on traffic safety. A series of activities such as education on road traffic safety signal lights and related supporting facilities, a donation ceremony of traffic safety publicity materials, and a traffic safety experience class were held on the spot to guide students to enhance their awareness of civilization and law-abiding, identify potential traffic safety hazards, improve their self-protection skills and avoid the danger of traffic participation.

The first lesson on traffic safety

Kou Mingxing, the traffic safety publicity ambassador from Duolun Technology; and Li Dongsheng, the police officer of the Traffic Police Brigade of Pu'an County Public Security Bureau, delivered a vivid lecture on traffic safety knowledge to the teachers and students on the spot. The students learned conscientiously and asked questions enthusiastically. They learned to "know danger and avoid danger" imperceptibly among their childlike innocence.

All representatives made active efforts for the establishment of a sense of social responsibility for road traffic safety, aiming at advocating more social forces to participate in the publicity and education of children's traffic safety, jointly protect children's safe way to school, and cooperate to build a safer and more civilized traffic environment.
