Jiangsu Provincial Comprehensive Transportation Society (JSCTS) has recently launched the comprehensive evaluation results for 2022 Science and Technology Award. The project “Terminal Development of Intelligent Driver Training Robot Coach and Its Industrialization” jointly submitted by Duolun Technology and its Duolun Internet has won the Second Price of JSCTS Science and Technology Award.

Smart driver training expands into new information consumption scenes

The “Terminal Development of Intelligent Driver Training Robot Coach and Its Industrialization” forms the nucleus of intelligent driver training solutions developed by Duolun Internet, a subsidiary of Duolun Technology, by virtue of decades of industry experience in driver training.  

As an advocate of smart driver training, Duolun Technology has independently developed a new-generation driver training and teaching robot “DoDo Coach” for trainees. By merging technologies in natural language processing (NLP), optical character recognition (OCR), machine vision, voice recognition and other areas, the company has conducted systematic study across five dimensions of robot design and manufacturing, human-machine integration control, autonomous positioning and navigation, natural human-machine interaction, and AR/VR. With this study, the company has actualized intelligent chatting and interaction in the driver training scene and created a realistic robot-based intelligent training system for trainees, thus offering more intelligent and immersive user interaction experience.

Up to now, this solution has been implemented in more than 3,000 driver training institutions in many provinces and cities in China. Its role in facilitating the industry’s transformation to digital and intelligent driver training has been widely recognized, as evidenced by its numerous honors including a national demonstration project for new-type information consumption, national-level excellent AI product and application solution, one of the new technologies and products to be promoted and applied in Jiangsu Province, and Nanjing Excellent Patent Award.
