On May 11, 2023, the 11th China International Exhibition on Police Equipment (CIEPE), hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, opened at Beijing Shougang Convention and Exhibition Center. Themed on “a new journey at a new starting point and new era escorted by new equipment”, the exhibition focuses on cutting-edge police equipment and state-of-the-art technology in China and abroad. The Traffic Police of Hangzhou Public Security Bureau joined hands with Duolun Technology to participate in the exhibition for the first time and showcase driving test innovative products in the traffic management equipment exhibition area.

The CIEPE is an important window for all-round display of China’s police equipment technology at the highest level and an important platform for international police equipment exchange. Since 2002, it has been successfully held 10 times and has become a police equipment exhibition with wide influence in the Asia-Pacific region and even the world.

The exhibition area in 2023 is divided into the equipment pavilion of public security organs, international enterprise pavilion, domestic enterprise pavilion and innovative technology product release area, with a total of 619 domestic enterprises and 40 foreign enterprises exhibiting. Among them, the equipment pavilion of public security organs consists of 13 exhibition areas, and more than 920 kinds of equipment are exhibited.

The new generation of AI subject three test system launched by Duolun Technology is the core product of the company in the field of intelligent driving tests. The automatic judging item of the subject three test system is increased from 54 items to 122 items in the current industry standard, and the automatic judging rate is increased from 41% to 93% in the standard. Meanwhile, the system solves the test process management for the behavior of the examiner, greatly promotes the test standard, reduces the pressure of manual judging, improves the test management efficiency, and improves the intelligent test process and intelligent team management by scientific means.

At present, the current examination system achieves the automated judging of 54 skill items through RTK differential, in-vehicle sensing, and other technologies but the remaining judging work in large quantities is still manually judged by examiners. In the existing general judging criteria, many security awareness class items can not be judged, which not only affects the fairness and impartiality of the examination but even causes greater difficulty in the management of the examination team.

From the trial in 2022 to the end of January 2023, the system has completed 80,100 examinations, and has automatically captured and judged nearly 80,000 driving behavior and traffic safety judging items in total, according to the Traffic Police Detachment Vehicle Management Office of Hangzhou Public Security Bureau. At the same time, the system can automatically discover examiners’ gesture and voice suspicious events, which effectively improves the process management of accompanying examiners and the intelligence of the subject three test. During the exhibition, the innovative driving test products of Duolun Technology also got the attention and interviews from the exhibitors and media reporters.
