Recently, the “Smart Transportation Equipment Procurement Project in Fengnan District, Tangshan City” undertaken by Duolun Technology was checked and accepted after on-site inspection and comprehensive review by experts and specialists of the Acceptance Committee. All front-end facilities and the operation platform of Composite Operation Command Center of the Traffic Police Brigade under Public Security Bureau of Fengnan District have officially come into service. The bid for this project was won in October 2020, with an accepted contract amount of nearly CNY 148.5 million, and its acceptance was achieved with higher quality than expected.

Superior location with convenient transportation

In Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, there are 4 railways, 5 expressways and several national and provincial trunk lines, which have been included in the half-hour traffic circle of the capital, contributing to a superior traffic location with convenient transportation. In this regard, promoting the smart upgrading of transportation and driving the construction of new transportation ecology are not only the construction demand of building a smart city in Tangshan, but also the industrial demand in the context of new infrastructure and digital development in China.

This project is a large-scale smart transportation project with its construction and administration undertaken by the Traffic Police Brigade under Public Security Bureau of Fengnan District, and its overall solutions provided by Duolun Technology.

Duolun Technology activates traffic management with cutting-edge technology, utilizes a sound road sensing system to obtain information on road networks including the distribution of traffic busy sections, travel models, traffic flow etc., and associates people’s traffic travel with real-time traffic information to build an intelligent information exchange system of data, information, knowledge and intelligence, and promote the coordinated development of people, vehicles, roads and the environment.

What’s more, the Composite Operation Command Center of the Traffic Police Brigade under Public Security Bureau of Fengnan District, as one of the key project deliverables, made its debut at the “Working Meeting for Public Security Traffic Management of Hebei Province” in April 2021, and was unanimously praised by the participating leaders.

During its construction of the Composite Operation Command Center, Duolun Technology built one center (Fengnan Composite Operation Command Center), two platforms (Traffic Big Data Application Platform, and Intelligence, Command, Logistics & Supervision Integrated Operation Platform) and six application systems by integrating the daily business command and dispatching work of the Brigade and many elements including intelligence, command, logistics and supervision.

The command center can provide three functions: 1. Deeply integrate data resources, including the Traffic Big Data Application Platform, Blade Vehicle Analysis System and other application systems, to realize smart practical application through data fusion; 2. Gradually realize the smart command by establishing practical operation models and innovating algorithms; 3. Assist front-line police in accurately carrying out various service work, improve front-line operation effectiveness, and achieve remarkable practical results.

In this project, Duolun Technology has established a new-generation intelligent transportation system for Fengnan District, including infrastructure construction such as front-end fixed/mobile sensing equipment, thus realizing complete data acquisition and in-depth integration of other data. The in-depth calculation of road network data is carried out in combination with various flexible customized application systems, by virtue of the intelligent computing platform of Composite Operation Command Center, so as to efficiently and effectively improve the capability of accurate traffic management and control, and provide Fengnan District with the overall solution of “public security traffic brain” produced by Duolun Technology.

The successful acceptance of this project not only effectively improves the capability of accurate traffic management and control, the level of fine road management and the travel experience of residents, but also reflects that Duolun Technology’s capability of overall planning, design and implementation in the urban smart transportation system has reached the leading level in China.

In the future, Duolun Technology will focus on the principle of “enhancing people’s awareness of traffic civilization and promoting the development of traffic big data industry”, and create a new model of comprehensive traffic management and smart city construction, so as to provide innovative products and overall solutions of higher quality for similar cities in China.
