In order to promote road traffic safety education and raise people’s awareness, the Traffic Police Brigade of Public Security Bureau of Longkou invested over 8 million yuan and started to build their road traffic safety education base in mid 2015, the first base for comprehensive traffic safety education in Yantai. The newly-built and commissioned education base covers an area of nearly 800 m² and is divided into 22 sections, including a traffic sign and marking education zone, a traffic violation penalty education zone, a dangerous driving experience zone, and a 3D film theater. The combined use of sound, light and electricity enables all-round and multi-dimensional interactive experience from various perspectives, providing citizens with vivid traffic safety lessons.
