Since China advocates green travel, electric bikes have become popular because of they are low-carbon consuming, economical, energy-saving, and convenient, and they have become a common means of transport among residents for daily short-distance trips. However, the rapid development of electric bikes is accompanied by highlighted management problems such as "hard to manage" and "flooding safety accidents".

Problem One:

As electric bike riders are not required to take driving tests, there reports a high incidence of traffic violations among them, including driving in reverse direction, crossing and changing lanes arbitrarily, crossing roads arbitrarily, making turns arbitrarily, occupying motor lanes, failing to obey traffic lights, and driving under the influence of alcohol, which is likely to cause traffic accidents. According to statistics, from 2013 to 2017, there were 56,200 road traffic accidents involving electric bikes causing casualties across the country, resulting in 8,431 deaths, 63,500 injuries, and ￥111 million in direct property losses. The number of accidents grows every year, at an average rate of 8.6%.

Problem Two:

More than one-third of electric bike owners have lost their vehicles or batteries. After reporting the theft, incomplete vehicle information, inaccurate last vehicle location, lack of management techniques and other reasons have made it hard for the public security authorities to investigate and solve the cases. It is time consuming and requires a lot of hard work, taking up a lot of police resources.

Solution:

Built on our company's advantages, Beidou satellite positioning technology, GPS positioning technology, and NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things) featured by good mass connections, ultra-low power consumption, wide coverage, and great safety and reliability, the platform achieves real-time vehicle trajectory tracking, vehicle speeding alert, vehicle positioning query and trajectory playback management. The platform enables whole-process positioning and tracking under any weather conditions, and is gradually replacing RFID solutions as the future of electric bike management.

The non-motor vehicle integrated management platform adopts a service-oriented "Internet + cloud computing" architecture. Based on the NB-IoT, Beidou satellite positioning, cloud computing, big data and other advanced technologies, and focused on smart transport and big data analysis, we have build a non-motor vehicle supervision platform for the public and public security authorities that provides scientific management of non-motor vehicles.
